About the Role TV Production interns will: Join producers on field shoots, act as production assistants on location, generating, organizing, and gathering release forms, among other things Assist in logging and transcribing footage Support the producers as they research, shoot and edit segments for the monthly broadcast and the website. Support studio shoots by running teleprompter, welcoming guests, and acting as the production assistants Have the opportunity to pitch stories for shows currently in production. Write copy TV Production interns will learn: All aspects of television production including pre-production, production, and post-production How to research and develop interview questions How to summarize the content in short concise paragraphs The organizing and structuring of each program and how to offline edit Professional etiquette when going on shoots.
