About The Position

UAS Aviation Analyst The Opportunity: Leverage subject matter expertise in the Fires and Movement and Maneuver Warfighting Functions and Aviation considerations as they pertain to the integration and training of rapidly procured and program of record UAS systems. Assist the Army client with solving challenges with Individual and Collective training and the integration of UAS systems and TTP to achieve Army Drone Dominance. Understand adversary threat tactics and procedures in order to inform force protection posture and input to Army rapid capab ility development processes. Apply Army staff processes and principles to coordinate and collaborate with higher headquarters, adjacent commands and subordinate elements. Develop guidelines, strategies and instructions to facilitate UAS readiness across the force. Produce reports, information papers, briefings and other products for command leadership on threat capab ilities and non-materiel solutions to counter them. Collaborate with other directorates and subordinate commands to optimize work activities across the Army client. Join us. The world can’t wait. You Have:

Requirements

  • Experience with the U.S. military as a senior NCO, WO, or Officer
  • Experience with Group 1-3 UAS including as an instructor pilot or Master Trainer
  • Experience with the Fires Warfighting Functional Areas such as Air Defense Artillery, UAS, or C-UAS programs or activities
  • Experience with Movement and Maneuver Warfighting Functional Areas such as UAS and air space management or deconfliction
  • Experience at staff Battalion or higher
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Full Deployment Operations
  • Experience with Dept of Army level Working Groups, Steering Groups, and Planning Teams
  • Experience with Electronic Warfare ( EW ) and Cyber and Electromagnetic Activity ( CEMA )
  • Experience with Defense Acqui sit ion System or Joint Capab ilities Integration and Development System ( JCIDS ) processes
  • TS/SCI clearance
