Position Title: UI/UX Designer (Senior)

Position Description:
We are seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to support digital transformation projects across state agencies. The designer will lead and apply human-centered design principles to improve the end-to-end user experience for state services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and validate wireframes, mockups, and prototypes based on user and business requirements.
* Build responsive front-end interfaces using modern frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Angular).
* Ensure designs comply with UI/UX standards and guidelines.
* Translate concepts into user flows and interfaces tied to measurable KPIs.
* Produce design deliverables (personas, journey maps, wireframes, etc.) for both low- and high-fidelity stages.
* Make strategic decisions on design and usability across state-wide applications.
* Lead and participate in user testing and iteration cycles.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and stakeholders.
* Communicate design rationale, process, and results effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Qualifications:
* 5+ years of experience in UI/UX or service design.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
* Proficiency in modern UI/UX tools for creating wireframes and prototypes.
* Experience facilitating workshops or sessions to gather user insights and feedback.
* Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
Preferred Skills:
* Familiarity with agile teams and design thinking methodologies.
* Ability to lead initiatives across large public sector organizations.
* Experience developing and optimizing customer experience metrics.
