About The Position

Ultrasound Technologist - 40 hours/week - We’re seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. In this role, you’ll perform high‑quality diagnostic studies, support patients throughout their procedures, and ensure accurate, timely reporting for clinicians. Hiring Range: $46.00/hour to $62.00/hour depending on experience. The above information is intended to indicate the general nature and level of work required in this position. Requirements

  • Graduate of an ARDMS‑accredited ultrasound program.
  • ARDMS registration required, or registry‑eligible with certification obtained within 6 months of hire.
  • BLS (AHA) certification required.
  • Minimum of one year of ultrasound experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong clinical competency and technical proficiency with ultrasound equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to support patients in high‑stress situations.
  • Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to prioritize tasks and respond effectively in urgent or emergent situations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in outpatient or hospital settings and familiarity with electronic medical records is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and ensure patient comfort, safety, and understanding throughout the procedure.
  • Follow established clinical protocols to deliver consistent, high‑quality imaging.
  • Identify patient concerns, risks, and abnormal results promptly and communicate with providers.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including sonographer notes and exam details.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, patient services, and clinic leadership to support smooth workflow and timely exam interpretation.
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness, functionality, and supply inventory.
  • Uphold quality standards, including daily checks and routine equipment care.
