About The Position

The Ultrasonographer is responsible for the operation of diagnostic ultrasound equipment for the performance of all ultrasound procedures at a technical level not requiring direct supervision.

Requirements

• Graduate of an Ultrasound accredited program accepted by the ARDMS
• Registered by the ARDMS within two years of graduating Ultrasound program.
• Must be willing to be “on call"
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to communicate effectively in an emergency situation.
• Annual completion of competency requirements
• Basic typing and computer skills.
• Must be able to work in a stand alone position as well as call within six months of hire date.
