Ultrasound Technologist (RDMS) – VA Medical Center Contract | $45/hr + Bonus
About The Position
We are searching for an experienced Ultrasound Technician for a full time, 1 year contract opportunity with the Department of Veterans Affairs in Syracuse, NY. This is a W-2 contract position supporting the VA Medical Center and any state license is accepted (no NY license requirement). Position Highlights $45/hour + Sign On Bonus Weekday Schedule (8:00am - 4:30pm) Manageable Caseload - 8-15 ultrasounds/day Any U.S. state license accepted W-2 Benefits Including Healthcare & 401k Position: Sonographer/Ultrasound Technologist Location: Syracuse, NY - VA Medical Center Base Pay: $45/hour Schedule: 8:00am - 4:30pm, occasional overtime and after hours on-call/callback coverage Contract: 1 Year Minimum with Opportunities for Extensions
Requirements
- Current, Full, Unrestricted Radiologic Technology License - Any State
- Clean Malpractice History & Criminal Record
- RDMS Certificate (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in abdomen, OB/GYN, and Breast
- 3+ years of experience as a Sonographer
- Experience performing ultrasound & vascular studies
- Knowledge of digital imaging and PACS

- Experience with Phillips EPIQ 7 or EPIQ 5 preferred
