To be successful in our mission, The Nature Conservancy is embracing processes and novel solutions that will accelerate and amplify our impact. This work at the intersection of people and nature requires new perspectives, skillsets, and an agile approach. Within a learning environment, the undergraduate innovation intern will provide a novel and fresh perspective to an assigned team and project within the organization. We are seeking purpose-driven, impact-hungry, fun-loving interns to join us in transforming our work. The intern will work remotely with innovation leadership and program teams to help identify, design, and implement innovative approaches to our work to enhance the impact of our projects. They will bring their background and expertise – perhaps in technology, investments, analytics, design, art, activism, equity, social change, management, communications, science, engineering, coding, marketing, writing, etc. – to significantly advance innovation in conservation. This could include creating processes, building conservation solutions, designing program work, generating program materials, analyzing investments or policies or processes, or introducing new methods and best practices into our day-to-day operations and work. The project’s content is dependent on the intern’s academic interests, unique skillset, and the needs of our many conservation programs. The areas in which the intern may work include conservation, philanthropy, marketing and operations.
