Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Light Vehicle Mechanic in our Goldrush Underground Maintenance department. Requirements

Two (2) plus years of experience in maintenance of mobile, farm, trucking, aircraft, military or support equipment
Basic knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics
Ability to work safely and effectively with minimal supervision
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of people
Experience repairing light vehicles and support equipment preferred
Ability to accomplish strenuous physical labor under all weather conditions
Lift at least 50 lbs.
Proven safe work record with belief and value seen in courageous leadership model
Ability to be an initial team member in a growing, fast paced environment, and support team in attainment of safety, environmental, equipment protection and production goals with a proven safety record
Housekeeping standards are maintained to a high level
Good written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

Experience repairing light vehicles and support equipment preferred

Responsibilities

Inspect, repair and maintain a diverse light vehicle fleet
Troubleshoot and repair electronic engine controls
Diagnose and repair engine failures as needed
Diagnose and repair hydraulic and electrical issues as needed
Complete routine maintenance activities for the purpose of ensuring the availability and safe functioning of light vehicles and support equipment as needed
Maintain shop areas, tooling and service vehicles to ensure a clean and safe work environment
Perform daily pre-shift work inspections and participate in individual and group hazard identification processes
Perform other duties as assigned
