About the Role We are looking for an Underground Shaft Technician to join Resolution UG Operations & Maintenance team to support perform repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities associated with the shaft infrastructure. This role is a great opportunity to become part of The Resolution Copper Company that is located in the historical Pioneer Mining District, 60 miles east of Phoenix, Arizona. Reporting to the UG Electrical Supervisor.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work safely in confined, underground environments while wearing required PPE
Strong fault‑finding, problem‑solving, and communication skills
Commitment to safety, teamwork, and operational excellence
Current valid driver’s license
Be a team player who contributes and works with others to accomplish quality results

Responsibilities

Perform repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities associated with the hoisting system
Sling and rig equipment in and out of the shaft
Operate a mobile crane for hoist system maintenance activities, shaft logistics, and truck loading/unloading
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials, often exceeding 50 pounds
Frequent bending, stooping, crawling, and climbing
Work at heights
Ability to support your body weight and any additional load you might be carrying
Maintain stability while ascending and descending
Firm grip to hold onto the ladder rungs securely
