Duties, Responsibilities & Other:
This position is for an underground skilled laborer with a minimum of 3 years of general construction experience.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to maintain required certifications.
• Pre-employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment.
• Motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum 3 years of underground experience.
• Ability to obtain a Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical card for Commercial Motor Vehicle operation within 30 days. Having a current Commercial Driver’s License is a plus.
• OSHA certification a plus.
• Minor operating experience a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude is desired.
• Experience placing underground.
• Highschool Diploma/GED

Responsibilities

• Identify potential safety hazards.
• Assisting in MOT set up and take down.
• Working in trench, utilizing shoring methods and safe excavation procedures.
• Installing various size conduits in trench.
• Ability to follow instructions with a positive can-do attitude.
• Ability to perform routine equipment maintenance tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
