About The Position

As an Underwriter, you will be responsible for reviewing loan applications, assessing risk, and making informed credit decisions. You will evaluate applicants’ financial history, communicate with dealership partners, and ensure compliance with company policies while maintaining a strong focus on customer service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of underwriting or credit experience
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in data entry.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must submit to a background check.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in loan origination or finance is a plus.
• Bilingual capabilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review loan applications from dealerships to determine credit risk.
• Evaluate applicants’ income, credit history, and financial stability to assess loan eligibility.
• Assist with phone inquiries from other departments and dealership partners.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial and personal information with discretion.
• Accurately input and update loan application data.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, vendors, and internal teams through excellent customer service.
