About The Position

The Unified Communications Analyst I shall provide first-line support for all aspects of the organization's unified communications systems, including voice, video conferencing, messaging, and collaboration technologies. This role requires a basic technical background in end-user communication technologies and a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and maintenance. This individual will focus on providing excellent customer service to end-users and collaborate with IT teams and vendors to ensure availability, reliability, and security of services in compliance with organizational policies. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required, Associate’s degree in field of study relevant to the current position is preferred.
  • Minimum of 0-2 years of experience in a similar or related role required; however, candidates with an equivalent combination of experience, education, certification, and demonstrated proficiency in a similar or related role will also be considered.
  • Basic knowledge of voice, video, messaging, and collaboration technology.
  • Basic knowledge of desktop hardware, software, and networking.
  • Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills to interact with users and understand their support needs.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
  • Familiarity with helpdesk software and remote support tools.
  • Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple project activities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing technologies and business needs.
  • Accepts ownership and welcomes responsibility.

Nice To Haves

  • One or more current, industry standard certifications preferred (CompTIA ITF+ CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Support Technician, etc.).
