About The Position

The Unit Coordinator/Educator is accountable and responsible for assisting the
Managers with day-to­ day operations of the units and  providing  staff
educatjon.  This includes demonstrating  Jeadersnip skills, managing nursing
practice, and/or operational issues. These activities should ensure appropriate
outcomes and efficient, effective team processes, guiding activities of the
area, including but not limited to the staff, environment, and patients. The
Unit Coordinator /Educator will assist with direct patient care as directed or
scheduled by the Managers.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Managers with day-to-day operations of the units
• Providing staff education
• Demonstrating leadership skills
• Managing nursing practice
• Managing operational issues
• Guiding activities of the area, including but not limited to the staff, environment, and patients
• Assisting with direct patient care as directed or scheduled by the Managers
