ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Supervises and directs both clinical and/or prevention and administrative personnel, including scheduling and coordinating activities, conducting performance reviews, providing training, etc. Participates and/or leads a variety of staff meetings including treatment planning, case review, committee meetings, departmental meetings, etc. Implements and plans unit programming, including identifying and addressing trends, addressing problematic issues with existing programs, and developing new programs/services. Monitors fiscal performance of unit and maintains accurate related documentation. Provides public relations support for unit's clinical programs, as relevant, to EAPs, other agencies, referral sources, and local community. Ensures unit activities adhere to state and Joint Commission licensure standards and participates in licensure review activities. Identifies unit training needs, develops corresponding training programs, and implements the programs. Interviews and hires new staff and handles personnel issues and grievances. Fulfills the role of AODE’s designated “Clinical Supervisor” for their programs of responsibility. EDUCATION Master's degree in Education, Counseling or other relevant field plus licensure from the appropriate KY Board. EXPERIENCE Two to three years of clinical experience with a supervisory background and experience with program management, including budget preparation. Thorough knowledge of state and Joint Commission licensing requirements. Good interpersonal skills. Good public speaking abilities. Good supervisory skills.
