This role is a full-time position within our site where we have a team approach to manufacturing. Timely and Regular attendance is crucial to your success and the safety of the team. There is mandatory overtime associated with the role depending upon the needs of the business because, with team-based manufacturing, production areas must be manned for worker safety and may continue beyond the end of a scheduled shift or may require additional overtime hours outside of normal shift schedule. Requirements

Manufacturing experience a plus.
Ability to recognize quality problems.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to operate in a self-directed environment and complete tasks on time and thoroughly as assigned.
Ability to demonstrate operational decision as required, maintaining production levels.
Ability to read and write.
Must be able to safely operate forklift.
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
Must be able to stand for long periods of time, squat, bend, twist and turn as needed to perform the job.
Must be able to climb ladders and stairs multiple times throughout the shift.
Must possess good manual and mechanical dexterity to perform job duties.
Remove tooling and properly reassemble using basic hand tools.
Basic motor skills are required to perform the necessary mechanical aspects of this job in an efficient manner.
Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds multiple times throughout shift.
Must be able to wear required safety equipment.
Move and control reels of garden hose weighing up to 1200 pounds.
Body strength and stamina must be sufficient to perform these duties 50 times per shift.
Must be 18 years of age to work at Teknor Apex.

Responsibilities

Operate production equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain established quality standards per production requirements.
Maintain maximum line speeds and productivity of all machines assigned.
Demonstrate ability to identify production issues and troubleshoot, as appropriate.
Complete all required production records accurately and completely.
Maintain housekeeping and 6S standards.
Identify quality issues and attain established standards.
Understand and adhere to safety policies and procedures.
Perform related responsibilities as required or directed.
