Unit RN - Infusion Center
About The Position
The Registered Nurse administers nursing care within the scope of hospital policy and established standards of care and in accordance with the needs and/or wants of each patient. He/she develops and initiates the nursing care plan utilizing the nursing process. The Registered Nurse collaborates/cooperates with nursing staff and other hospital/health care disciplines for promotion of health to obtain the optimal level of wellness for patients, family, and community. The University of Vermont Health Network/Porter Medical Center is located in the heart of beautiful Middlebury, Vermont. We are comprised of a 25-bed acute care facility, a 98-bed skilled nursing facility which includes a memory care unit, short-term rehabilitation unit and a long-term care unit, and a network of primary care and specialty medical practices throughout Addison county and the town of Brandon.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Vermont - unrestricted.
- Exceptional vascular access skills necessary.
- BLS required
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred.
- Infusion experience within the past 5 years preferred.
- ACLS preferred.
