About The Position

Woodhaven is seeking full-time, detail-oriented individuals to join our upholstery team. This individual must have excellent attention to detail, must be able to manage their time efficiently, and maintain effective performance. The candidate is required to work in a fast paced work environment with team members to assemble to furniture that meets the needs of specifications.

Requirements

• Must be reliable
• Ability to multi-task and be flexible to be cross-trained in multiple departments
• Must be a self-starter and motivator
• Work in a fast-paced team environment
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude
• Flexible to work on weekends, when needed
• Able to read and understand measuring tape and or measuring rulers.

Nice To Haves

• Highschool or equivalent (Preferred)
• Upholstery: 1 year (Preferred)
• Manufacturing: 2 year (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assemble and upholster furniture with vinyl, fabric, and leather
• Inspect & verify parts meet specs of work order
• Use of all hand tools such as: staple gun, pinner, screwdriver, hammer, mallet, fabric puller, etc.
• Able to lift, push, and/or pull heavy objects at times weighing 50-75 lbs
