About The Position

Delaware County Christian School is currently accepting applications for an Upper School History Faculty position. This role will begin in August 2026. We are seeking a teacher who feels a calling to teach in a Christian school, has a Bachelor's degree (or higher) and is comfortable working in professional learning teams focused on student learning in a culture of continuous improvement. Requirements

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in History or a related field.
• Personal commitment to Jesus Christ and solid understanding of the Word of God.
• There should be evidence of a godly lifestyle based on this commitment to Jesus Christ
• Deep understanding of, with a strong ability to articulate, a Christian philosophy of education
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated commitment to servant leadership and collaboration
• Ability to maintain a high energy level while managing a variety of tasks and projects

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree preferred.
• Willingness to continue professional development through seminars and conferences made available
• Prefer 3+ years experience
• Ability and desire to coach or lead extracurricular activities is strongly preferred
