About The Position

Nashville Christian School is seeking a dedicated and qualified Upper School Science Teacher for grades 9-12. The primary focus of this position is instruction in Chemistry, though the role may include teaching other science-related courses as needed.

Requirements

• A valid teaching certification OR a degree in a science-related field.
• Strong knowledge of Chemistry and general science principles.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging science curriculum for students in grades 9-12.
• Serve as the primary instructor for Chemistry courses.
• Potentially teach other science disciplines based on departmental needs.
• Assess student progress and maintain a positive, productive classroom environment.
