Urologist Job Quick Facts: • Specialty: Urology • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Facility Location: Silverdale, WA • Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient • Reason for Coverage: Supplemental • Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing • Coverage Type: Clinical + Call • Shifts needed to be filled: - Apr 20-24, (weekend calls) 18-19, 25-26 - May 4-8 - Jun 22-26, Jun 29 - Jul 3 - Jul 6-10, 13-17, 20-24, 27-31 - Aug 3-7, 10-14, 17-21, 24-28, Aug 31-Sep 4 - Ongoing availability • Shift Schedule: 8a-4p • Call Schedule: 5-6 days of call - Nights: 5p-8a - Weekends: 7a-7a • Call Type: Beeper • Call Ratio: 1:6 • Callback Volume: 80% callbacks, 20% consults • Patient Volume: 20-25 per day • # of Surgeries: 20-30 surgeries/month • Rounding included: Yes • Duties & Procedures: - bread & butter/General uro care (procedures, in-clinic, & on-call) - Cystoscopy, Ureteroscopy, Nephrectomy, Cystectomy - Prostate biopsy TURP, Vasectomies - Uroflow/cuff, Bladder scans - ESWL - Botox injections • Support Staff: 2 RNs, MA, surgery scheduler, & 2 front office staff • Trauma Level: III • Office Equipment: Robot available • EMR: Epic • Other info: - Solo coverage - Hospitalists will handle admissions • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
