Get to Know Your Team: UT Health Athens is a 127-bed facility, including a 24-hour ED, designated as a Level IV trauma center and Level IV stroke center; advanced diagnostic technology; 10-bed ICU; maternity unit radiation therapy center; and a stand-alone ED in Gun Barrel City.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within 14 days of hire date or transfer into position

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of supervisory experience
ACLS certification
Completion of education to obtain licensure as an LVN or RN

Responsibilities

Assists the clinic manager and provides support in overseeing the clinical environment to ensure great patient and physician experiences occur and that clinic operational tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Supervises staff by communicating, training and displaying the kind of work example others wish to follow which enables the office to function effectively and efficiently while communicating closely with the Clinic Manager.
Performs clerical office duties including document processing, record keeping, report compilation of confidential patient data, and supply ordering in an organized and efficient manner to meet the appropriate needs of the office.
Performs other duties as assigned
