What You Will Do as a US Retail Brand Manager: The US Retail Brand Manager owns the strategic direction, product assortment, brand expression, and business performance of the Liberty brand within the US Market while supporting retail execution and operational delivery across Retail Brands (Kodiak, Terra, Walls). This role serves as a critical connector between Brand strategy and Retail execution, partnering cross-functionally with Merchandising, Product Creation, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Planning, and Supply Chain to ensure brand intent is translated into strong retail results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Product Management, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in apparel merchandising, product creation, retail buying, or branded merchandise development.
  • Strong understanding of product line architecture and Go-To-Market processes in a retail environment.
  • Experience analyzing retail sales, margins, costing, and pricing to generate insights and recommendations
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence internal and external partners.
  • Highly organized with strong project management, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing work based on business impact.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategic direction, seasonal assortment, and overall business performance of the Liberty brand within the US Market.
  • Develop Liberty’s category and consumer-right assortment strategy, including marketplace segmentation, channel-specific line plans, pricing and margin targets, and product line architecture.
  • Lead the Liberty product creation and Go-To-Market process end-to-end, partnering with Merchandising and Design from concept and brief through production, retail placement, and seasonal line presentations.
  • Manage the Liberty assortment lifecycle using competitive, consumer, and financial insights, including SKU strategy, costing, line health, and post-season performance analysis.
  • Ensure Liberty brand strategy, positioning, and storytelling and brand expression are consistently delivered across retail, digital, and marketing channels.
  • Support Retail Sales execution for Liberty and other Retail Brands by coordinating seasonal programs, large sales opportunities, and new initiatives.
  • Act as the primary cross-functional liaison supporting retail execution, integrating SKU setup, size scales, order management, service issue resolution, and coordination with Sales, Planning, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations.
  • Own retail performance insights and planning inputs by monitoring inventory and service indicators (backorders, ATP/Open-to-Sell, excess and obsolete inventory, phase-in/phase-out) and supporting forecasting and S&OP processes.
  • Develop and maintain line, assortment, and program analytics, business cases, and performance reporting to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Prepare strategic plans and recommendations to support customer opportunities, growth initiatives, and channel objectives.
  • Coordinate samples and product availability for photo shoots, tradeshows, sales meetings, and showrooms.
  • Lead or support cross-functional projects, proactively identifying risks and driving solutions to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality execution.
