Full time requirement (40 hours per week). Are you ready to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic corporate environment? Join Johnson & Johnson as a Demand Planning Co-Op and contribute to meaningful work while building your professional network and skillset! This Co-Op role supports the US Surgery business within our MedTech sector. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals in Planning, contributing to data analysis, forecasting, and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required.
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Materials Management, Engineering, Biosurgery, or related fields.
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework.
  • Proficient in MS office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, E-mail and management of database tools.
  • Math, including Algebra and statistics (preferred).
  • Familiarity with SAP is highly desirable.
  • Current education or extra-curricular activity experiences should demonstrate capabilities to meet the required skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to take direction well, set priorities and achieve results.
  • Validated ability to quickly learn and apply complex applications.
  • Good written and oral communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Business maturity and ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Customer focused judgment and initiative.
  • Able to identify opportunities for improvement in existing processes and take initiative.

  • Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future.
  • Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually requires future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Data & Reporting: Collect, analyze, consolidate, and report planning data accurately and on time. Prepare dashboards, reports, and presentations for internal partners.
  • Process Improvement: Develop tools and systems to enhance planning efficiency. Document processes to support training and knowledge transfer.
  • Collaboration & Forecasting: Engage daily with internal and external teams. Support demand planning segments, collaborating with Marketing and Finance. Analyze forecast errors and recommend corrective actions. Research methods to improve statistical forecasting performance.
  • SAP & Inventory Management: Gain hands-on experience using SAP to identify and resolve issues with customer orders. Allocate inventory to critical orders, ensuring timely fulfilment and customer satisfaction.
  • Compliance & Safety: Follow all relevant policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Complete required training within designated timeframes. Promote a safe and inclusive work environment.
