About the position

We are looking for super smart Staff Software Engineers to help build the top-tier iOS products. Last Mile Delivery is expected to grow multiple times over in the next few years. In this role, you will develop highly scalable services and solve complex software engineering problems by leveraging state-of-the-art technology.

Responsibilities

  • Translate requirements into solutions and create design.
  • Mentor junior team members and oversee small project teams.
  • Assist in providing guidance to small groups of engineers for assigned Engineering projects.
  • Provide support to the business by responding to user questions, concerns, and issues.
  • Manage small to large-sized complex projects by reviewing project requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot business and production issues by gathering information and performing root cause analysis.
  • Participate in the discovery phase of small to medium-sized projects to come up with high-level design.
  • Demonstrate up-to-date expertise and apply this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans.
  • Build relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders to support the implementation of business solutions.
  • Model compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Experience with mobile software development using Swift & Objective-C.
  • Experience using distributed source code version control systems (Git/Github).
  • Experience working within an agile development team.
  • Experience with Apple SDKs for iOS development.
  • Experience with software debugging techniques.
  • Experience with analysis of memory issues using memory analyzers tools.
  • Experience with embedded real-time systems with limited resources.
  • Experience with command line XCode build tools for Continuous Integration.
  • Experience in design patterns, MVVM MVC, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Experience in unit and integration testing using Swift, SwiftUI, Combine, and Objective-C code.
  • Published iOS application is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area.
  • 2 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
  • Knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards.
  • Background in creating inclusive digital experiences.
