About The Position

Bob Boyte Auto Group is seeking a motivated and experienced Used Car Manager to join our team on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. In this role, you will oversee the acquisition, pricing, merchandising, and sale of used vehicles, ensuring a profitable and well-maintained inventory that meets the needs of our customers. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a hands-on approach, and a deep understanding of the used car market.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Used Car Manager or in a similar automotive sales management role.
• Strong knowledge of the used vehicle market and pricing strategies.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the used car department.
• Acquire quality used vehicles through auctions, trade-ins, and wholesale channels.
• Set competitive pricing to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Oversee vehicle reconditioning and ensure all used cars meet company standards.
• Lead and develop the used car sales team to achieve sales targets.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and sales reports.
• Collaborate with finance, service, and sales departments to provide a seamless customer experience.
