We take pride in our extensive inventory of high-quality pre-owned vehicles and are looking for a skilled Used Vehicle Buyer to help us expand our selection. Job Description: As a Used Vehicle Buyer, you will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and acquiring pre-owned vehicles to maintain an optimal inventory. This role requires strong negotiation skills, market analysis expertise, and a keen eye for identifying high-value vehicles that align with our brand’s quality standards.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Previous experience in automotive purchasing, sales, or appraising preferred.
Strong understanding of used car values, market trends, and acquisition strategies.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and make informed purchasing decisions.
Proficiency in dealership management software and online auction platforms.
High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.

Responsibilities

Stay informed about market trends, competitor inventory, and pricing fluctuations.
Identify and acquire quality used vehicles through auctions, trade-ins, private sellers, and dealer networks.
Conduct market research to determine vehicle values, demand trends, and pricing strategies.
Inspect and appraise vehicles to assess condition, history, and resale potential.
Build and maintain relationships with wholesale buyers, sellers, and industry contacts.
Negotiate pricing and terms to ensure profitability and competitive inventory.
Work closely with the sales and management teams to align acquisitions with dealership goals.
Monitor inventory levels and adjust purchasing strategies as needed.
