User Experience Designer III
About The Position
Robert Half, one of FORTUNE’s World’s Most Admired Companies and a Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For is hiring for a UX Designer III to join the Experience Design department. This individual will be part of the user Experience Design team and reports to the Director Digital Creative. This team is responsible for UX design projects for the public facing web and mobile apps. The work produced by this team utilizes a range of design disciplines such as UX research, information architecture, interaction design and visual design. Particularly at the more senior levels, leadership responsibilities include developing project plans, communicating to all levels including executives, directing the work of other designers and leading collaborative discussions featuring inspirational conceptual visualization.
Requirements
- BA in interaction design or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in visual design.
- 3+ years of experience in web application design.
- 1+ years’ experience designing social networking interactions.
- Proven skills in task modeling, wire frame and user flow diagramming, usability testing, information architecture, interaction design, user centered design, usability methodologies, industry standards and trends.
- Highly proficient in Adobe XD, Sketch, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Basic skills in html, css, and JavaScript.
- Good understanding of current web technologies and how to design for them.
- Experience with fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with product and support teams to understand business and user goals and help to translate this into designs that meet the needs of both.
- Work closely with the engineering team to understand the technical boundaries and ensure design integrity during development.
- Produce high quality interaction design artifacts, user flows, wireframes, and mock-ups.
- Organize usability tests and create simple prototypes for testing.
- Participate in the creation of usability design standards and patterns.
- Work closely with development team to provide implementation support.
- Lead small UX design projects.
