About the Division: The vision of the Enterprise Data Office is to be the trusted partner for enabling a data-driven government. Its mission is to empower leaders to make informed decisions that improve outcomes for North Carolina through the preparation, sharing, analysis, and management of the state’s data. The Enterprise Data Office (EDO) within the Department of Information Technology Services (DIT), leads statewide collaboration on secure, effective, and high quality use of data across agencies, advancing shared data priorities and governance practices. EDO Operations supports all applications and workstreams under EDO by providing 24/7 technical assistance, system maintenance, data flow management, user support, training, and audit activities to ensure reliable and secure operations for programs such as CJLEADS and other enterprise platforms. As part of its core mission, EDO is accountable for enterprise data management, flexible and interoperable data governance, and the secure delivery of high quality, privacy protected data that enables evidence based decision making across the State.
