Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will oversee maintenance for production lines, equipment, building, and grounds while leading preventative and predictive maintenance programs. You will guide maintenance employees, support capital and engineering projects, and help the plant achieve safety, reliability, and uptime goals. A Taste of Your Responsibilities Plan, schedule, and direct maintenance work to meet production needs. Monitor downtime, mechanical trends, and equipment efficiency to identify improvements. Train and coach employees in safe work methods and standard procedures. Manage maintenance spending, parts purchasing, and overtime. Lead PM and PdM activities, including oil, vibration, compressor, and infrared analysis. Evaluate maintenance frequencies and workflows to maximize equipment reliability. Maintain compliance with OSHA and USDA requirements and partner with USDA officials. Maintain compliance with PSM/ RMP requirements and partner with IIAR standards Ensure safe operation of machinery and support engineering and capital project work. Promote teamwork and continuous improvement focused on safety, food safety, and uptime. Ingredients Required for Your Success High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or technical field preferred. 3+ years of maintenance/HVAC/Boiler experience 2+ years previous supervisory experience Reading and interpreting safety rules, blueprints, schematics, and maintenance instructions. Preparing reports and communicating with employees and partners. CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) experience preferably SAP Experience with preventative maintenance programs and electronic/electrical principles. Experience writing evaluations, maintenance procedures, and job descriptions. Computer literacy with MS Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, Teams CAD/drafting experience preferred Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, and feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; taste and smell. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee will be exposed to a noisy environment that varies from hot to cold in temperature. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity.
