Position summary: The utility person is responsible for supplying Backwinding, Loading and unloading with creels. Assisting in Creel loading when necessary.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Standing and walking on concrete floor for extended periods of time

Nice To Haves

Previous fork-lift experience helpful.

Responsibilities

Set up creels in Backwinding, Loading and Unloading as needed.
Ensure tuggers are charged for the day at the beginning of the day.
Keep tugger wheels clean of yarn.
Assist operators in moving Portable Creels when needed.
Move completed creels to the staging area.
Move empty creels to staging area
Perform all duties in a consistent way so as to produce goods of consistent quality.
Refer to Utility Person Work Instructions for further instruction on the processes of the duties outlined here.
Assist in creel loading when necessary.
Maintain housekeeping
Comply with safety rules
Comply with environmental regulations
Be aware of departmental Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
Ensure all ISO procedures are followed.
Understand and support Interface commitment to sustainability.
Perform other duties as assigned
