About The Position

Peraton is hiring a Utility Cloud Support Systems Administrator to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Jessup, MD. As a Systems Administrator on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at a customer location. As a Utility Cloud Support Systems Administrator on our team, you will provide system administration solutions to meet required capabilities for cloud, Virtual Desktop (VDI), and other current and future Computer Infrastructure. You will create bills of materials, network designs and diagrams, rack elevations, cable run lists, build books, and other documentation for new and updated installations. You will also work with network, storage, and server personnel to define new or modified solutions to complex problems; respond to requests for new MUC and VDI systems; design systems to meet capacity and user requirements; and determine required power, space, cooling, and funding to meet these goals. #AJCM

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university and ten (10) years’ experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level I or higher is required.
  • Computer Network Operations - Must have at least two (2) years of demonstrated experience in modern operating systems and network architectures.
  • Information Assurance - Must have at least two (2) years of demonstrated experience in certification and accreditation. Architecture development and design. Risk Assessments. IA Metrics gathering.
  • Ability to work independently and in groups to complete tasks bounded by constraints.
  • Experience with VMware virtualization technology.
  • Ability to break down complex problem space, formulate technical strategies, build action plans, and track progress against established baselines to resolve technical challenges and meet customer expectations.
  • Position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
