Position Summary: The Utility Helper position is responsible for the delivery and pick up of toters, assists in the inventory room, and provides overall upkeep of the Maintenance Shop. The Utility Helper is also responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of the dumpsters, trucks, and toters.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
  • Maintenance/Mechanical knowledge

Nice To Haves

  • CDL license is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate delivery, pickup, and other inventory-related items.
  • Wash all parts of the truck: engine, motor, and blade area.
  • Safely operate the truck in a busy transfer station environment
  • Yard Duties: keeping the area clean of loose debris.
  • Waste Maintenance: Sweeping, emptying waste bins.
  • Wash totes and various equipment.t
  • Keep the maintenance shop organized and tidy.
  • Assist with the physical movement inventory.
  • Participate in all required Company meetings, including weekly safety meetings.
  • Maintains reasonable, regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Adapts to changing duties, as required, based on business needs.
