TYSON FOODS VICKSBURG PLANT: ALL SHIFTS Utility Labor PR04
About The Position
The Utility Laborer is responsible for maintaining continuous product flow and supporting production operations in a fresh food manufacturing environment. This position relieves Team Members for breaks, fills in during labor shortages, and performs a variety of production support tasks while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to all Tyson policies, food safety standards, and procedures. Fresh Plant Environment Expectations Work directly with raw and fresh products in a temperature-controlled environment Strict adherence to hygiene, sanitation, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements Compliance with food safety, quality, and contamination prevention practices Ability to adapt quickly to changing line assignments and production priorities Safety and Compliance Commitment The Stacker Labor employee is expected to maintain a safe work environment and comply with Tyson policies, food safety requirements, OSHA regulations, and plant procedures. This role is essential to maintaining packaging efficiency, load stability, and safe production operations at the Vicksburg Plant.

Responsibilities
- Maintain continuous product flow on production lines to support efficiency and throughput
- Relieve Team Members on the production line for breaks, lunches, and absences
- Fill in for open positions during labor shortages to ensure uninterrupted operations
- Perform multiple production tasks as assigned, including but not limited to packing, sorting, staging, and material handling
- Assist with product movement between production areas to prevent downtime or congestion
- Monitor work areas to ensure product quality, food safety, and sanitation standards are met
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to fresh product handling
- Assist supervisors by responding quickly to changing production needs
- Identify and report safety hazards, equipment issues, or product concerns immediately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of production areas, tools, and equipment
- Comply with all Tyson policies, OSHA regulations, USDA requirements, and food safety guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned to support production and operational goals
