The Management Analyst-Water Utilities, under the supervision of the Financial Services Manager Water Utilities, performs a variety of technical and professional-level work involving the analysis of department budgets, expenses, revenues, rates and services. The Management Analyst will be responsible for developing, modifying and monitoring performance measurement tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Public Administration or other closely related field required
  • Moderate experience with a minimum of three years’ experience in a related field required
  • Valid State motor vehicle operator’s license and acceptable driving record required
  • Ability to support an ethical, non-discriminatory and safe work environment
  • Thorough knowledge of financial, budgeting and accounting procedures
  • Considerable knowledge of data mining, analyze, organize and identify solutions
  • Considerable knowledge software systems for billing and customer management
  • Ability to guide, direct and motivate employees
  • Ability to organize, supervise and delegate the activities of field and office personnel in the performance of all billing and related activities
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other departments and the public
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
