Utility Mechanic - Center City - Full Time Day
About The Position
PRIMARY FUNCTION: To perform minor adjustments, repairs and inspections to equipment and facilities in a timely manner to customer satisfaction ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Make minor repairs to plumbing fixtures, traps and piping. Replace defective electrical outlets, switches, ballasts, lens and lamps. Replace filters as needed to HVAC equipment. Inspect and test medical gas outlets. Maintain records as required. Repair minor nicks, scrapes, gouges tears to walls, doors and floors. Perform tightening, lubrication, and adjustment to door checks, hinges and other door hardware. Replace stained or missing ceiling tile. Observe sanitation, safety and housekeeping regulations. Ensure that all work is performed according to customer needs and satisfaction. Cooperates in department’s work improvement efforts. Practices excellent customer service. Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
- Three (3) years - with technical school
- Four (4) years - without technical school
