About The Position

The Utility Operator is a versatile role within our egg processing plant, supporting various tasks on the processing floor. This position assists the Processing Lead and other team members in ensuring efficient plant operations, including labeling, floor setup, equipment maintenance, and maintaining cleanliness.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, physically demanding work environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Effective communication skills and team-oriented attitude
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in food processing or manufacturing
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up the processing floor and ensuring equipment functionality
• Help prepare labels and maintain inventory of packaging materials
• Support equipment maintenance, including changing washer water as scheduled
• Contribute to maintaining a clean and sanitary processing environment
• Adhere to safety regulations and use appropriate PPE
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production
• Provide support during peak production periods
• Other duties as assigned
