About The Position

Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of food and beverage equipment and smallwares Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensure member and guest satisfaction Responsible for maintaining appearance and cleanliness of kitchen, back dock, basement food and equipment storage areas; Ensure all equipment is clean, meeting sanitation standards set forth by state laws and regulations and properly maintained Responsible for cleaning, stocking, and organizing food and beverage equipment, china, glass, and silver Assist kitchen staff members with preparation of food items when needed See that operating procedures are done in a safe manner, not endangering staff, members, guests, or themselves Always check with your supervisor before leaving the premises. Double-check your schedule for the next day. Report unusual situations to your supervisor (leaks, broken items etc.). No private phone calls are allowed during work periods without permission from your supervisor. Check ice machines for cleanliness. Follow the weekly silver polishing program. Clean all ovens and grills properly. Use the right chemicals and follow safety procedures. Clean walls, tiles and drains when needed or requested. All health and sanitation code requirements must be met at all times. Clean fridges and freezers when needed or requested. Represent Boonsboro Country Club with a positive and professional image Ensure that a quick and appropriate response is given regarding any negative comments from members and guests Responsible for attending all required meetings Adhere to all various written standards of operations within Boonsboro Country Club policies and procedures

Requirements

  • No experience is necessary.
  • To perform this job successfully this individual must possess good communication skills, good leadership skills, the ability to resolve problems, and be able to work within business demands.
  • This job does demand that the employee be able to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, talk and hear.
  • Physical demands may include lifting and moving objects of up to 75 pounds in weight.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, small group situations, and large group situations to members and guests and other employees within the organization as needed.
