Utility Relief - Night Shift
About The Position
Seaman Corporation is a manufacturer of high-quality industrial coated fabrics, based in Northeast Ohio for over 75 years. Our manufacturing facility promotes a collaborative and innovative atmosphere, and we celebrate our team-based approach. Manufacturing is the core of our business. We are currently looking for a Utility Relief on 3rd Shift, 11:00p – 7:00a. As of March 1, 2026, we will transition to a 24/7 rotation with a 4:3 schedule. Must be able to work within that schedule. Day shift will be 7a-7p; night shift will be 7p-7a.This position will be trained in all areas of the plant and will provide support where needed.
Requirements
- HS Diploma/GED required
- All candidates will be required to successfully complete the following: Work-Keys Assessments Drug Screening Criminal Background Check
Nice To Haves
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
- Some computer skills preferred
Responsibilities
- Promoting safety by following procedures and practices
- Delivering blended compounds in timely manner to each production line in order to run efficiently
- Documenting pick list information, printing and attaching pigment ticket to pick list
- Assuring sample testing meets specifications
- Learning all facets of running coating lines
- Material Handling
- Inspecting all products
