About The Position

Under direction of the Warehouse Supervisor and/or Warehouse Manager, will follow all established procedures and policies for the receiving of dry ingredients and materials while prioritizing safety, quality and efficiency to meet the goals of the company.

Requirements

Excellent driving skills, hand/foot-eye coordination, and manual dexterity
Good record keeping / clerical skills
Good far-visual differentiation and depth perception
Good basic math and reading skills
Good oral communication and human relations skills
High School Diploma or equivalent
Some experience or training as a forklift operator

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is desirable

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspection and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to supervisor
Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs
Housecleaning – keeping work area clean, organized, and cleared of trash
Responsible for assisting loading and unloading at warehouse
Conduct pre-and post -trip inspections of trailer
Participate in shift change brief
Perform all duties of a selector/shipper
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Performs one of the following two tasks: Local vehicle operations involving position and moving trucks and trailers on and between warehousing facilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and
Sufficient knowledge of IT and BPCS operations, responsibilities, workflow processes, and procedures to resolve inquiries
Maintaining food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner
Through the monitoring of incoming goods
Maintaining the food legislation requirements
Serves as a backup for other shippers/receivers and their duties.
