Although the full salary range is posted, the target salary range for this position is $22.53-25.50. Wastewater Management oversees all aspects of wastewater functions, including the construction, operation, maintenance of the City’s sanitary and storm systems, and responding to customer inquiries regarding sewage and storm drainage service charges. Specifically as a Utility Worker II you will: Perform semi-skilled and light to heavy physical labor on a variety of construction, maintenance, and repair projects on new and existing sanitary and storm structures. Assist equipment operators with pre and post trip inspections Work in and around traffic Assist with sanitary jetting which includes lifting and pulling open manholes (100-120lbs). And entering manholes with proper training Assist with Vac Trucks which includes pulling grates (~220lbs) from inlets and removing debris. Place and remove barricades, cones, and other traffic control and safety devices in and around work areas for construction and maintenance projects in accordance with traffic regulation requirement Participate in the snow removal
