About The Position

Jefferson Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented part-time Utilization Review RN to join our collaborative Case Management Team. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring high-quality, compliant, and medically appropriate care by coordinating utilization review, discharge planning, and quality initiatives. You'll work closely with hospitalized patients and their families to develop thoughtful, seamless discharge plans, supporting smooth clinical transitions across levels of care while helping uphold our commitment to safety, efficiency, and patient-centered excellence. This role requires a high level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive information related to the performance of providers, nurses, and ancillary and support staff in delivering medically appropriate care. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective utilization review processes for incoming patients, as well as conducting concurrent audits focused on utilization, quality, and care delivery performance. In addition, you will contribute to a range of professional activities supporting Risk Management, Quality Improvement, Compliance, and Utilization Management (QM/UM) initiatives. Schedule: 0.8 FTE; 32 hours/week; Variable Shift; Weekends Required Jefferson Healthcare is a DNV-accredited, 5-star rated Critical Access Hospital serving more than 25,000 residents through our hospital and six rural clinics. Requirements

  • Current Washington State RN license in good standing
  • Current AHA BLS/CPR (for Healthcare Providers) required
  • Two years of experience in a hospital/clinical environment preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
  • Previous leadership experience preferred
