Join us as a UX Designer! As a UX Designer at BMC, you will be responsible for designing and delivering innovative, high-quality product experiences that meet our customers' needs and exceed their expectations. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing, to define experience design.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in ideation sessions led by more senior designers.
  • Contribute ideas and sketches for new features or improvements based on user research findings.
  • Develop and maintain design standards and guidelines that ensure consistency across all products and platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and researchers, to define and prioritize product features and requirements.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity experience designs that effectively communicate design concepts and solutions to cross-functional teams.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in product design and identify opportunities to improve the user experience.
  • Work closely with engineering to ensure designs are implemented as intended and collaborate on design-related technical challenges.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and evangelize the importance of user-centered design throughout the organization.

Requirements

  • You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in fine arts, product design, graphic design, Human Computer Interaction (HCI) or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in UX/product design, with a proven track record of designing and delivering successful products.
  • You can provide a strong portfolio that demonstrates your design skills, process, and impact.
  • Expertise in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with design systems, component libraries, and design standards.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, design thinking, and human-computer interaction.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Proven track record working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
