About The Position

The organization is seeking a highly skilled UX Researcher to support early‑stage research and advanced development for next‑generation AI wearable technologies. This role focuses on understanding how people communicate, interact with AI, and experience audio‑driven interfaces in real-world environments. The researcher will play a critical role in shaping the future of AI glasses and wearable communication systems by generating insights that guide product direction, user experience, and long‑term strategy. This position is ideal for researchers with strong quantitative foundations, experience in human‑AI interaction or speech communication, and a passion for emerging technologies. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Cognitive Psychology, Linguistics, Human‑Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Speech & Hearing Sciences, Neuroscience, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of industry experience conducting applied research on consumer products, with emphasis on quantitative and mixed‑methods approaches.
  • Proficiency in descriptive and inferential statistics, experimental design, and survey methodology.
  • Experience with qualitative research methods (e.g., interviews, diary studies, contextual research).
  • 1+ years of experience working within cross-functional product teams.

Nice To Haves

  • PhD in Cognitive Psychology, Linguistics, HCI, Human Factors, Speech & Hearing Sciences, Neuroscience, or a related discipline.
  • Experience synthesizing qualitative insights to inform product direction and strategic decision‑making.
  • 2+ years of experience conducting attitudinal or behavioral research involving wearable technologies (e.g., smart glasses, headphones, smartwatches).
  • Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis and data visualization using tools such as R or Python.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor insights to diverse audiences and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Design and conduct rigorous research to guide the development of AI‑powered wearable experiences, with an emphasis on speech communication, audio interaction, and human-AI collaboration.
  • Lead quantitative UX research, including lab-based experiments, survey design, statistical analysis, and behavioral measurement.
  • Supplement quantitative work with qualitative methods such as interviews, diary studies, and contextual inquiry when needed.
  • Evaluate and iterate on audio, communication, and AI‑driven features by understanding user perception, interaction patterns, and real-world benefit.
  • Translate complex research findings into clear, actionable insights and measurable recommendations for cross-functional partners.
  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, design, and research teams to influence the development and integration of future AI wearable experiences.
  • Partner with other UX researchers to shape research roadmaps, study designs, and methodological approaches.
  • Independently manage research from end to end, including study design, data collection, analysis, reporting, and cross-functional alignment.
