About The Position
To operate the telephone switchboard and provide customer service and assistance for clients of the VA Medical Center facility. Must be available to work within a 24-hour, 7 day per week schedule, which may include some or all city, state, and federal holidays.
Requirements
- Requires high school diploma/GED or equivalent.
- Based on the contract that we service, it stipulates that we are required to fill this position with persons having a disability and are able to provide proper, medical documentation of the disability.
- Must be able to pass a federal background check to gain physical and logical access to the VA Hospital.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working with switchboards or telecommunications is preferred.
