Job Summary The Vacation Sales Agent works with popular local attractions such as ports, and attends events such as trade shows, festivals, and conferences to connect with the public as a brand ambassador for Travel + Leisure. In this sales-based role, engages in face-to-face conversations with prospective customers and share information about the vacation club experience. Invites and incentivizes guests to attend award-winning vacation ownership presentations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment within a shared space.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, general computer skills and smart devices.
  • 1 to 3 years of sales and/or marketing experience in preferred, not required
  • Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a positive and professional brand ambassador for Travel + Leisure
  • Greet, present, and incentivize prospective customers to attend a sales-preview tour
  • Screen and qualify potential customers based on company guidelines
  • Make vacation package sales and collect payment on site.
  • Make vacation package sales and collect payment on site in accordance with all company policies, compliance standards and regulatory requirements while maintaining minimum performance goals
  • Attend all scheduled training sessions and department meetings, keep current on marketing information and materials, keep current on industry trends, and set and review performance goals weekly, monthly and annually.
