About The Position

Ensures the proper handling of guest’s vehicles and luggage, using the highest level of customer service at all times. Establishes Operational procedures for valet parking services and luggage transportation.

Requirements

• Must be able to present a valid Louisiana driver’s license record with no moving violations or traffic citations in the past five (5) years.
• Ability to drive all types of passenger vehicles with automatic or manual transmissions.
• One (1) year supervisory experience in hospitality or service industry.
• Must have exceptional customer service skills, leadership skills, and motivational skills.
• Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift.
• Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be able to run on a level surface and in extreme temperatures.
• Must be able to run for extended periods on all types of surfaces, as well as, up and down stairs.
• Must be able to drive all types of passenger vehicles with automatic or manual transmissions in a safe fashion.
• Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
• Must present a well groomed appearance.
• Must be able to work and quickly maneuver inside and outside, sometimes in temperatures in excess of 115 degrees and as cold as 10 degrees.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day to day valet parking and self parking operations including management of direct reports.
• Assures smooth vehicular movement in all drive-throughs, lots and garages.
• Displays, observes, documents and promotes positive customer service.
• Inspects company parking garages and surface lots to assure vehicles are properly secured.
• Handles problems associated with personnel, equipment, vehicles or any related departmental concerns.
• Responsible for validating cashiering over/short report and take appropriate discipline.
• Ensures staff upholds Family Style Service at all times
• May perform other duties as assigned
