About The Position

Easterseals Florida is seeking a responsible, courteous, and service-driven Van Driver to support our Palm Bay Adult Day Training program. In this role, you will safely transport program participants between their homes and our center, ensuring a positive and respectful experience for every passenger.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least six months of related experience
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Minimum age of 21 (required to operate company vehicles)
• Ability to meet Easterseals Florida’s approved driver qualifications, including a good driving history
• Flexibility to adjust hours as needed for program coverage

Responsibilities

• Safely operate program vehicles and strictly adhere to all motor vehicle laws, policies, and procedures
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers at all times
• Conduct and document required pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Report any safety concerns or vehicle maintenance needs to your supervisor
• Treat all passengers with dignity, respect, and exceptional customer service
• Assist with additional pick-ups and/or drop-offs as needed
• Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of assigned vehicles
• Complete and submit daily attendance and mileage logs accurately
