Organization: VHVI Non-Inv Diag Vascular Job Summary: Perform vascular diagnostic ultrasound testing of extracranial, peripheral and visceral vascular systems. Collect data and provide documentation of test results for reading physicians. . POSITION HIGHLIGHTS: $10,000 sign on bonus for full time positions. Industry competitive rates. 7am - 4:30p Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday Office is closed on Wednesdays. Located at Clarksville Tn working with the adult population. The sign-on bonus is not applicable to current VUMC staff or former staff who have worked for VUMC in the past twelve months. The sign-on bonus is only available for full-time positions. Key Responsibilities: Reviews medical record, obtain history and perform physical exam pertinent to vascular disease. Review physician order and obtain clarification as needed. Performs duplex / Doppler exams per policy and procedure. Obtain assistance from supervisor or physician as needed. Provides preliminary results in electronic medical record Notify referring physician of significant abnormal findings before discharging patient from lab. Provide final report data for reading physicians. Maintains appropriate care of all ultrasound equipment. Obtains technical support as needed from equipment manufacturer or biomedical electronics.
