About The Position

Nuvance–Northwell Health, the Northern Region of Northwell Health spanning Connecticut and New York, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible vascular surgeon to join our established and growing vascular surgery program based in Danbury, Connecticut. This position is primarily based at Danbury Hospital, with participation in vascular care delivery across other hospitals within the system as part of a coordinated regional model. Coverage is structured and collaborative, allowing surgeons to build a strong practice while supporting system-wide growth without excessive commuting. Our vascular program offers: State-of-the-art hybrid operating rooms Dedicated block time and excellent OR support staff A high-volume vascular laboratory The only IAC-accredited vein center in Connecticut An office-based lab Established and growing referral base with strong regional demand Opportunities for full spectrum of open and endovascular practice Support for clinical, translational, and basic science research Danbury Hospital also hosts a freestanding 6-year general surgery residency, including a dedicated research year.
