About The Position

HII Mission Technologies is currently seeking several VDI Data Center Administrators to support our work at Beale AFB, CA. The U‑2 enterprise depends on secure, reliable, and continuously available networks to execute some of the Air Force’s most demanding ISR missions. Your expertise ensures that both classified and unclassified systems remain operational, protected, and ready to support global operations around the clock. Requirements

  • Security+ CE (or higher) in accordance with DoD 8570.01‑M
  • Previous experience as a Network Administrator
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware and software infrastructures
  • Experience with hybrid Windows/UNIX environments
  • Experience programming CISCO and JUNIPER switches
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Must be able to obtain a valid U.S. passport
  • Level 2 - 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
  • Level 3 - 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure continuous availability of classified and unclassified networks supporting U‑2 operations
  • Monitor system performance and respond to network issues in real time
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity problems
  • Patch and update workstations, servers, and virtual machines
  • Design, deploy, and validate system upgrades and enhancements
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date system documentation
  • Work within hybrid Windows and UNIX environments
  • Configure and maintain CISCO and JUNIPER switches
  • Support virtualization environments, including VMWare
  • Provide responsive support to users across the organization
  • Assist with troubleshooting, system access, and network connectivity
  • Help maintain secure, compliant, and mission‑ready IT environments
